Sales Administration Assistant

Role Description

Sutton Tools UK currently have a vacancy for a full-time Sales Admin Assistant within our internal sales department.

Sutton Tools UK specialises in the supply of Engineering Cutting Tools and has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic person to join our team.

Operating from our head office in Braintree, the Sales Admin Assistant will be required to provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients to ensure the process of purchasing a product from the company is a seamless, efficient and effective process.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients through a variety of communication channels, primarily over the telephone
  • Provide solutions and recommendations to customers’ needs
  • Processing sales orders and where required, sourcing non-stock items to meet those sales orders
  • Creation, maintenance and updating of discount codes for clients
  • Creation and ownership of the quotation process
  • To provide first time resolution for clients, both internal and external, queries and/or complaints
  • Maintenance of the sales/supplier database to ensure contact details are kept up to date
  • Processing returned items
  • Provide support and assistance to other departments

  • Good Communication skills
  • Good level of computer skills- Experience of Infor M3 would be beneficial.

Technical Sales Engineer

Location

North West England

Role Description

This role is a full-time position as part of the external sales team to actively promote Fenn Tool as a company and as a supplier of choice. Ultimately, you will be working to provide customer-focused solutions to ensure that team and individual sales targets are met. Sales experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.

This role covers Lancashire, Merseyside, Cumbria, Manchester, Cheshire, and North Wales.

Residing in the North-West region is preferred, however surrounding areas would be considered.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Flexibility and willingness to travel is essential
  • Technical experience in conventional and CNC machining processes, including but not limited to, turning, milling, drilling, and tapping
  • Previous sales experience is preferred, but not essential
  • A good knowledge of CNC programming
  • A high level of competency using Microsoft Office
  • Driven, hardworking, and self-motivated

In addition, you will be a strong communicator who enjoys solving client’s problems, providing both commercially focused and technically sound solutions.
