UK Sales Manager - Cutting Tools
Location: United Kingdom (Field-based with travel)
Salary: £60,000–£70,000 + Bonus + Company Car

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and grow our UK sales operations within the cutting tools market. You will be responsible for driving sales strategy, managing key customer relationships, and expanding our market share across the UK.
This is a high-impact role for a dynamic sales professional with strong technical knowledge of precision tooling, particularly within CNC machining, milling, turning, and drilling applications.
- Develop and implement the UK sales strategy to meet revenue and growth targets
- Manage and grow a team of regional sales engineers and distributors
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within aerospace, automotive, general engineering, and subcontract manufacturing sectors
- Maintain strong relationships with existing key accounts and provide tailored technical support
- Collaborate with technical and product teams to align solutions with customer needs
- Report sales forecasts, KPIs, and market intelligence to senior leadership
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events
- Proven track record in sales within the cutting tools or precision engineering sector
- Deep technical understanding of machining processes and tooling applications (e.g., carbide, PCD, indexable inserts, solid carbide)
- Strong network within the UK manufacturing and engineering sectors
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel nationwide as required
- Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) preferred, but not essential with sufficient experience
- Established and reputable brand in the tooling industry

- Autonomy to lead UK sales strategy
